Making “Migration”

Migration Mosaic at Casa Azafran Nolensville Pike

The 30-foot by 12-foot mosaic mural at Casa Azafrán is titled “Migration” and represents the movement of all peoples across many lands.  More than 7,000 hand-cut tiles and 300 volunteers created Nashville’s newest landmark, designed and installed by artist Jairo Prado.

Prado was commissioned by Conexión Américas, the agency that runs the nonprofit collaborative, Casa Azafrán.
